Privacy Policy

UnhumbleBrag ("we", "us", "the app") is a party and daily card game. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can delete it. UnhumbleBrag is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Who we are

The app is operated by the UnhumbleBrag team. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Anonymous account ID. When you open the app we create an anonymous account (a random ID) using Firebase Authentication. You do not provide a name, email or password to play.
• Nickname. The display name you choose. It is shown to other players on leaderboards and in game lobbies.
• Gameplay data. Your scores, the pre-written cards you select, and votes you cast in the daily mode.
• Purchase status. Whether you have bought a Host Pass, subscription, or the Famous Flex pack. Payments are processed by Apple or Google — we never see your card or payment details. A Host Pass or subscription also makes your games ad-free (see Advertising below).
• Advertising data (free, ad-supported games only). If you host or play in a game without an active Host Pass, Google AdMob shows banner ads and may collect an advertising identifier, device/network information, and coarse (IP-based) location to select and measure ads. See Advertising below.

We do not collect your real name, email, contacts, precise location, or any free-typed messages. The app has no open text fields other than your nickname.

How we use it

Mainly to run the game: sync live party games, show leaderboards, remember your scores, and unlock premium hosting/content if purchased. We do not sell your data. We do serve ads (see below) in games that aren't ad-free.

Advertising

Hosting a game is always free. Games hosted without an active Host Pass, subscription, or the Famous Flex pack show banner ads via Google AdMob — for the host and every guest in that game. Buying a Host Pass, subscription, or the Famous Flex pack removes ads from every game you host, for you and everyone playing with you.

Where ads appear, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect an advertising identifier, device and app information, and approximate (IP-based) location to select and measure ads, under Google's own privacy policy. If you're in the UK or EEA, we show Google's consent form (via its User Messaging Platform) the first time it applies, so you can choose whether ads are personalized. You can change that choice, or opt out of ad personalization generally, in your device's ad settings at any time. Ads never appear during active judging, the face-down "locked" screen, or the face-up reveal — only on the lobby, hand, and results screens.

Who processes it

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions) to store and sync game data, Google AdMob to show ads in non-ad-free games, and Apple / Google Play for in-app purchases. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Retention & deletion

Game data is kept while your account is active. Unused anonymous accounts may be automatically removed after a period of inactivity. You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Delete My Data in the app, or by request — see our Data Deletion page.

Children

UnhumbleBrag is rated 18+ and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change accordingly.
